The StarTech USB2100 adds a 10/100 Mbps Fast Ethernet RJ-45 port to a laptop or desktop through USB 2.0, without opening the case. It is a small dongle with an attached cable, uses the ASIX AX88772C chipset, and offers half or full duplex operation and Wake on LAN. It also works as a replacement for a failed onboard port. Listed systems include Windows XP through 11, Windows Server 2003 to 2022, macOS 10.6 to 13, ChromeOS and Linux.
