The MC220L converts 1000Base-SX/LX/LH fiber to 1000Base-T copper and back. Built to IEEE 802.3ab and 802.3z, it works with multimode or singlemode fiber using SC/LC modules, at 850 nm on multimode and 1310 nm on singlemode.
It can run standalone or in TP-Link's 19 inch system chassis (TL-MC1400), has auto MDI/MDI-X on the copper port and front panel status LEDs, and reaches up to 0.55 km on multimode or 10 km on singlemode fiber.
