The TP-Link RE500X is an AX1500 dual band Wi-Fi 6 range extender that plugs into a wall outlet, not a standalone antenna. It uses 1024-QAM, beamforming and MIMO with four high performance amplifiers to push a stronger signal into hard to reach rooms for 4K streaming and gaming, at up to about 1.5 Gbps. A gigabit Ethernet port connects a TV, computer or console by cable. It has two internal antennas, supports WPA2-PSK and WPS, draws about 10 W and is made in Vietnam.
