This ION POTS converter connects a twisted pair RJ-11 port to fiber, letting you link central office voice grade signals to distant telephone equipment using standard signaling. Two units make a complete link: one connects to a phone line or PBX in FXO mode and detects ringing, while the other acts as the central office in FXS mode and connects to the phone. It supports ringing at the far end and Caller ID.
