This outdoor converter turns a long fiber run into a copper connection while powering PoE, PoE+ and PoE++ devices such as IP cameras, VoIP phones and wireless access points. Paired with the TRENDnet TEG-10GBS20, it reaches up to 20 km (12.42 mi) over 1310 nm singlemode fiber.
It has one 10G LC duplex singlemode fiber port and one 10G PoE++ RJ45 port, a waterproof IP67 metal housing rated from -40 to 75°C and protection against shock, freefall and vibration. Pole mount hardware is included, making it a good fit for outdoor surveillance, transportation and corporate networks. It is NDAA and TAA compliant (US and Canada).
