This TRENDnet industrial converter turns a long fiber run into a copper connection and powers PoE and PoE+ devices such as IP cameras, VoIP phones and wireless access points. It is IP50 rated with hardened parts, runs from -40 to 75°C and resists shock, freefall and vibration. Front panel DIP switches control Link Fault Pass Through and switch/converter mode.
It has one Gigabit PoE+ RJ45 port, one 100/1000 Mbps SFP slot for multimode or singlemode modules (up to 80 km with the TEG-MGBS80), a 6-pin removable terminal block, overload protection and 6kV RJ45 surge protection. DIN rail and wall mounts are included, it is NDAA and TAA compliant (US and Canada), and the power supply is sold separately (TI-S15052).
