The Eaton Tripp Lite B097-016 is a 16 port serial console server for secure in-band and out-of-band access to routers, switches, firewalls, PBX, UPS and PDU equipment, suited to wiring closets, branch offices, kiosks and POS sites. It has sixteen RJ-45 serial ports, dual gigabit Ethernet for primary and failover, two USB 2.0 and an RJ-45 console, with 4 GB flash. Security includes FIPS 140-2 validated encryption, SSH, IPsec VPN, firewall, and Kerberos, LDAP, RADIUS and TACACS+. Dual power supplies draw about 25 W in a black metal case for desk or 1U rack. A rack kit, rubber feet, two 6 ft patch cables, two serial adapters and a crossover adapter are included. TAA compliant.
