The Eaton Tripp Lite B098-048 is a 48 port serial console server for secure in-band and out-of-band access to routers, switches, firewalls, PBX, UPS and PDU equipment. It has forty-eight RJ-45 serial ports, dual gigabit RJ-45 for primary and failover, dual SFP for fiber, a V.92 modem, 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi with SMA antennas, two USB 2.0 and an RJ-45 console, with 16 GB flash and an SD slot. It is validated to FIPS 140-2 with IPsec VPN, firewall and Kerberos, LDAP, RADIUS and TACACS+. Dual supplies draw about 15 W for desk or 1U, with a rack kit, Cisco loopbacks, serial and crossover adapters and two 6 ft patch cables. TAA compliant.
