This plug-and-play kit connects your computer's USB-A port to four USB devices, such as a printer, webcam, flash drive and external hard drive, up to 164 ft (50 m) away. It includes a local transmitter and remote receiver and sends USB 2.0 over user-supplied Cat5/6 (such as N202-Series). Power over Cable powers the receiver through the Cat5/6 cable, so you can place both units away from outlets; LEDs show power and data activity. For high-density USB hard drives, a USB Micro-B port on the receiver accepts an optional 5V power supply. It supports USB 2.0 speeds up to 480 Mbps, is backward compatible with USB 1.1, and needs no network connection. Backed by a 1 year limited warranty.
