It is built for 100G Ethernet and also works on 10, 25 and 40 Gb networks, so it is ready when you upgrade.
Flexible stainless steel armor and aramid yarn protect the fibers far better than a standard patch cord, so the cable can be run without conduit and holds up in indoor spots with dust, oil, gas or moisture. It offers low insertion loss and high return loss. The round yellow LSZH jacket marks it as single mode in a crowded patch panel and limits toxic smoke if it ever burns.
