This 2 meter (6.6 ft) Eaton Tripp Lite Series OM4 patch cable carries 40 and 100 Gb Ethernet traffic over 50/125 laser optimized multimode fiber (LOMMF), with male duplex LC connectors on both ends. It is designed for VCSEL and LED light sources in the 850 nm range, giving you a cost effective, high bandwidth link for LANs, SANs, data centers and central office interconnects.
The aqua low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) jacket identifies the cable as OM4 and limits toxic smoke in a fire, which helps in poorly ventilated spaces. It meets IEEE 802.3ae and TIA LOMMF standards and works with existing OM3 and OM4 rated 50/125 fiber. Because it complies with the Trade Agreements Act (TAA), it is eligible for GSA Schedule and other federal purchasing contracts.
