This 2 meter (6.6 ft) Eaton Tripp Lite Series OM5 patch cable is built for growing network traffic. OM5 is wideband multimode fiber (WBMMF) that supports at least four wavelengths in the 850 to 950 nm range, and this LC to LC cable is well suited to 40 and 100 Gb Ethernet in LANs, SANs, data centers and central offices.
The 50/125 fiber is laser optimized for cost effective VCSEL light sources and is backward compatible with OM3 and OM4 applications. The lime green low smoke zero halogen (LSZH) jacket makes OM5 easy to spot and limits toxic smoke in a fire, which helps in poorly ventilated areas.
