This 3 meter (9.8 ft) Eaton Tripp Lite Series OM3 patch cable uses 50/125 laser optimized multimode fiber (LOMMF) with male duplex LC connectors on both ends. It handles 10Gb Ethernet links of up to 300 meters at 850 nm and is built for VCSEL and LED light sources, a cost effective setup for LANs, SANs, data centers and central office interconnects.
The aqua OFNP (optical fiber nonconductive plenum) jacket is highly fire resistant, so the cable can go into plenum spaces like drop ceilings and raised floors. The cable meets IEEE 802.3ae and TIA LOMMF standards and works with existing OM3 rated 50/125 fiber. TAA compliance makes it eligible for GSA Schedule and other federal contracts. It is listed for use with the Tripp Lite N286-10G-SR-C transceiver.
