This 10 meter (32.8 ft) Eaton Tripp Lite Series patch cable is made with OM4 laser optimized multimode fiber (LOMMF) for 10, 40 and 100Gb Ethernet applications. The 50/125 micron fiber provides about three times the bandwidth of conventional 62.5 micron multimode fiber, at a much lower cost than single mode.
It is optimized for the 850 nm window, where cost effective VCSEL optics support high bandwidth links over extended distances. LC connectors sit on both ends, the jacket is low smoke zero halogen (LSZH), and the cable is well suited to LANs, SANs, data centers and high speed interconnects in central offices.
