Extend high density connections between equipment in telecom rooms and data centers with this 1 meter (3.3 ft) Eaton Tripp Lite Series OM4 trunk cable. It has 12 fiber female MTP/MPO connectors on both ends and a Base-8 design that works with QSFP+ 40GBASE-SR4 and QSFP28 100GBASE-SR4 connections. It is backward compatible with existing 50/125 fiber.
An MTP/MPO connector packs 12 fibers into roughly the space one SC connector would need, and push/pull tabs make one handed installation and removal easy. Each cable is checked for insertion loss and back reflection before it ships. The magenta jacket identifies it as OM4 and is plenum rated for ceilings, walls and ducts.
