Break a single 40Gb MTP port out to four 10Gb duplex LC devices with this 5 meter (16.4 ft) Eaton Tripp Lite Series fan out cable. It is OM4 rated and made for high density connections between 40GBASE-SR4 equipment. In full 40GBASE-SR operation, four fibers each carry 10 Gbps in each direction. The Base-8 design works with both QSFP+ 40GBASE-SR4 and QSFP28 100GBASE-SR4 connections.
One end has a male MTP/MPO connector and the other fans out to eight male LC connectors. Push/pull tabs let you plug in and remove each connector with one hand, and the slim uniboot design keeps cable management tidy. Premium ceramic ferrules support 10 GbE and faster signaling. The magenta jacket identifies it as OM4 and is plenum rated for runs in ceilings, walls and ducts.
