This active adapter cable connects a PC, laptop or other DisplayPort device to an HDMI monitor, TV or projector capable of 8K. Because the P582-006-8K6 is active, it converts both single-mode and dual-mode (DP++) outputs and works with graphics cards that do not send DP++ signals. Male connectors on both ends replace a separate adapter and HDMI cable for an all-in-one 8K solution, carrying digital video and audio from a Surface, Chromebook, PC or laptop. It is TAA compliant. Backed by a 3 year limited warranty.
