Product Information
This active adapter cable connects a device with a DisplayPort output to an HDMI monitor, TV or projector. Because the P582-010-HD-V4A is active, it converts both single-mode and dual-mode (DP++) outputs and works with graphics cards that do not send DP++ signals. Male connectors on both ends replace a separate adapter and HDMI cable. It carries digital video and audio from a Surface, Chromebook, PC or laptop, supporting up to 8-channel LPCM, compressed audio (AC-3, DTS), HBR formats and 192 kHz/24-bit audio. Video resolutions reach 3840 x 2160 (4K x 2K) at 60Hz with HDR, 4:4:4 chroma subsampling and low-latency Display Stream Compression (DSC). HDCP 2.2 support allows protected 4K streaming, and it works with earlier HDCP and DisplayPort versions and pre-4K displays. Backed by a 3 year limited warranty.
